Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Friends,

It is my pleasure to present to you thisbooklet and program on the occasion ofthe commemoration of the 90thanniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Hellenic Republic and the 30th anniversary of theopening of the Luxembourg Embassy in Athens.

The musical program of this celebration embodies this spirit as artists from both Luxembourg and Greece

This booklet presents you with another view of the relations and close friendship between our two countries, which build on shared values and principles, dialogue and mutual respect. We cooperate closely on many subjects of bilateral interest as well as in the framework of the European Union, the United Nations and NATO. The relations between Luxembourg and Greece are also based on the close ties between our peoples, artists and businesses, who form the foundation for a lasting relationship and for new opportunities of cooperation in the future. The musical program of this celebration embodies this spirit as artists from both Luxembourg and Greece have created, together, a unique concert around the music of the great Mikis Theodorakis.
