SONIA THEODORIDOU Musics of my life

Leading Greek composers through the lyrical instinct of international soprano Sonia Theodoridou

International soprano Sonia Theodoridou presents a special musical journey in Greek song, on Saturday, November 14, at the historical Literary Association of Parnassos.

In the concert "Musics of my life – Greece", favorite songs of the Greek repertoire meet the lyrical performance and acquire a different stage and musical dimension.

This is a personal selection of works associated with different moments in Sonia Theodoridou's life and artistic career: songs that influenced her, moved her and contributed to the formation of her musical identity. Through them, a path to modern Greek music creation unfolds, with melodies that have been passed down from generation to generation and remain alive in our collective memory.

With her on stage, the musical ensemble Sonus Amantes and the Women's Choir "Polymnia", under the direction of Sonia Theodoridou.

The Choir of the Brotherhood of Kefallinians & Ithacas of Piraeus and the Choir of the Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona are collaborating, with choreographer Christina Rokkou.

A concert where personal memory meets collective: songs familiar, beloved and deeply connected to Greece, seen through the special lyrical instinct of a performer with a long international career.
